What happens when you were among the first to believe in sustainable energy? A PV system needs to be revamped, even if all necessary maintenance has been carried out. The operation is called revamping, and it is an investment that can help you … find the right energy again.

As a company, we have always pursued energy-saving policies aimed at reducing pollutant emissions. We have embarked on a path to modify our facilities to be more environmentally friendly. Since 2010, our first plant for producing clean energy for self-consumption has been operating in the logistics department. It consists of 12,000 square meters of photovoltaic solar panels generating 1 million kWh per year of electricity.

But years go by even for photovoltaic panels, and ten years after installation, it was time to do an audit, resulting in a balance sheet. To do this, we relied on Elmec Solar, “neighbors” in the industrial area of Brunello. The results left little doubt: the performance analysis showed that in 2020 the installation produced 40 percent less energy.

No doubt about it: the time had come for revamping, that is, putting in place all the procedures aimed at modernizing, modifying, and improving the plant.

In this case, we replaced all PV modules, which in this way are able to produce clean energy for our consumption and a decrease in emissions.
